Edgar Momplaisir is a comedian, writer, and performer based in Los Angeles. He has performed sketch and improv comedy with the LeRoy team at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and as a part of the mainstage show Asscaaat. In addition to writing and directing numerous short films, he has worked as a staff writer on programs such as Dear White People on Netflix, What Just Happened?!?! for 20th Century Fox, and the 71st Primetime Emmys. He has also worked on shows for Comedy Central and ABC. Edgar Momplaisir returned to FOX as a consultant on the animated comedy Krapopolis. More recently he has moved into a producer role, overseeing production on projects such as Send Help, Star Trek Lower Decks, and Everybody Still Hates Chris.
